After being imprisoned for 10 years, the “Devil’s Rejects” are back at it again. Otis (Bill Moseley) escapes prison, meets Winslow (Richard Brake), and devises a plan to get his sister Baby (Sheri Moon Zombie) out too. The Rejects make their way down the road and into Mexico, killing countless people on their way. They find a place to stay, but are soon bombarded with a large group of killers- killers who are after these Three From Hell. Only one group can come out alive, and with the experience these three have, it’ll just have to be one great killing joyride.
Quick thoughts (not a review!)
The movie starts off a little, lets say – Wacky? and for a short while it does throw all senses of credibility out of the window! The way the characters are seemingly brought back from the dead (you need to watch The Devils Rejects to know what I mean).
But for a large part, this is a fun movie that never ceases up with the violence and at times torture. Sheri Moon Zombie is fun to watch as she wanders through her scenes reminiscent of a murderous Harley Quinn kind of character – you know something isn’t quite right with her and you certainly wouldnt want to mess with her!
As with most Rob Zombie movies, the diologue between the characters isn’t the best and its one of those you either like the movie or you hate it – no middle ground.
Overall, and yes Im biased as I love all things Rob Zombie – I’d say this is a decent movie, not great! – but a decent follow up to The Devils Rejects.
Would I recommend? Hell yeah!
