Two American college students on a walking tour of Britain are attacked by a werewolf that none of the locals will admit exists.
I wont lie – this is the ONLY horror movie to ever truly scare me – OK, I may have been 10 years old at the time and I remember sneakily getting access to this movie on VHS and watching it on my own and yes, it scared the hell out of me! Now I’m 40+ I can safely say it no longer has the same scare factor as it once did it is still one of the most iconic movies I’ve seen and one that I love to bits. Two Americans travel to Britain and start their journey in the North of England. After being attacked by a werewolf on the moors, one is killed whilst the other carries the lycanthrope bloodline meaning he will turn into a werewolf at the next full moon and more than likely go on a killing spree – in this case in London.
Yes, this movie is known for its black comedy and the ground breaking practical effects (man turning into a werewolf in real time in front of our eyes) but its also become a pretty iconic and much loved movie over the years.
Would I recommended? Definately!
